Event Connectivity & Temporary Networks
Your event is temporary. Its network still has to deliver.
From a festival site to a city-centre brand activation, your network has a job to do. We provide bespoke event connectivity packages, with equipment and services chosen around your site, your teams and the systems that depend on them.
The network behind your event.
When your event opens, organisers, vendors and visitors need connectivity they can rely on. We build the infrastructure around what each group needs.
- Operational teams: Connectivity to support communication and coordination across the site.
- Vendors and hospitality: Connections for the systems used in temporary trading and hospitality areas.
- CCTV: Network infrastructure to carry camera feeds between locations.
- Public WiFi: Wireless connectivity designed around visitor access requirements.
- Fibre, wired and wireless networks: Infrastructure planned around your site’s distances, layout and temporary facilities.
Built for the demands of your event
From large festival sites to city-centre pop-ups and brand activations, temporary events bring tight schedules, varied locations and changing requirements. We draw on established event experience to design networks around your site, your team and the systems you need to keep running.
Whether you’re connecting a Christmas market, light trail, hospitality area or an interactive brand experience, we help keep payments, bookings, registrations and WiFi working throughout your event.
Behind the experience, a network that delivers
A pop-up or brand activation may last just a few days, but its network needs careful planning. We work with agencies and production teams to support:
- Guest registration: Connectivity for check-in and sign-up systems.
- Bookings: Connections for table reservations and scheduled experiences.
- Public WiFi: Wireless access for visitors within the activation space.
- Digital interactions: Infrastructure for the connected elements of your brand experience.
Whether in a city centre, retail park or temporary hospitality space, we bring corporate networking expertise to your activation, with resilience considered from the outset.
Good planning starts with the right questions

“Indigo consistently go the extra mile, delivering critical IT infrastructure under tight deadlines and in demanding conditions.”
Luke Cowdell, Festival Republic
“Indigo have transformed how we deliver IT services across the Isle of Wight Festival, with expertise, professionalism and the ability to adapt in a live event environment.”
Caroline Giddings, Isle of Wight Festival Director
What needs connecting, who will use it and where does it need to work?
We establish the network requirements early, considering your site layout and delivery schedule so potential challenges can be addressed before installation begins.
Fibre, wired and wireless infrastructure
Different parts of your site need different connections. We combine fibre, wired and wireless infrastructure to link operational areas, temporary facilities and connected systems, selecting the approach around what your event needs.
One less challenge for your production team
Your team has plenty to coordinate. We take responsibility for the agreed network infrastructure, working alongside you from design through installation and integration. You gain a specialist partner who understands how connectivity fits into the wider event and keeps the technical detail manageable.
What are you planning next?
Whether it is a festival, seasonal event or brand activation, tell us where it is happening and what needs connecting. We can help you work out the network infrastructure your project requires.
FAQs
What is a temporary event network?
A temporary event network connects the people, devices and systems needed at a site for a limited period. It can combine fibre, wired and wireless infrastructure according to the event’s layout and operational requirements.
Can you provide connectivity for pop-ups and brand activations?
Yes. We plan temporary network infrastructure for pop-ups and brand activations, supporting the connections needed for ticket checking, guest registration, bookings, public WiFi and other digital interactions. We provide the connectivity that these systems use; we do not supply ticketing or booking systems themselves.
Do you work beyond music festivals?
Yes. Our experience includes connectivity for hospitality operators at sporting events, stadiums and concerts. We also welcome enquiries for seasonal experiences, country fairs, trade shows and other temporary event environments.
What information do you need to discuss a project?
The location, event dates, site layout and systems you need to connect provide a useful starting point. Tell us who will use the network and any known requirements, and we can discuss the next steps.
